Cliff Schexnayder (Tempe, AZ) Distinguished Scholar Emeritus, Del Webb School of Construction, Arizona State University.

Robert Schmitt

The doctor. Robert L. Schmitt is Professor of Civil Engineering at the University of Wisconsin, Platteville campus. He received his Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, MS in Civil Engineering from Purdue University and BS in Civil Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville. Doctor Schmitt has a total of 20 years of practical, research and teaching experience in the construction industry. He has led field research projects ranging from determining material testing and inspection levels on highway construction projects to improving on-site construction work productivity. He has taught a variety of civil engineering courses for 10 years including project management, costing and estimating, construction machinery, construction operations planning, technical economic analysis and senior level final planning. The doctor. Schmitt is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, the American Concrete Institute, the Association of Asphalt Paving Technologists, and a fellow of the Associated General Contractors of America. He has been a registered professional engineer for 15 years.
