The responsibilities of these mechanics, upgraders and interns also include fabrication, fabrication, assembly, molding, assembly, spraying, pouring, mixing, suspension, preparation, application, adjustment, modification, repair, disassembly, overhaul, anti-corrosion, testing and maintenance. 🇧🇷 Thermal insulation or antifreeze. Workers also handle fiberglass, calcium silicate rubber, and urethane insulation materials. Insulators also take care of the removal of asbestos-containing material.

Members work in one or more of several trades: painting, wallpapering, glazing (glass work), drywall and duct tape, flooring and signage, and display work. Wallpaper painters and hangers work in industrial, commercial and residential settings, from bridges and ships to the interior walls of office buildings and homes. Drywall tapes, padding, and smooth seams into sheets of drywall. Glaziers prepare and install various types of glass, mirrors, metal structures and building doors/entries. Floor coverings work with resilient floors as well as carpets and decorative coverings. Outdoor signs and displays, such as billboards, are another option. Other types of work include convention exhibitors and show decorators.

Members of the Building Materials business are truck drivers who haul and transport materials, goods, equipment, or personnel between various locations, including construction sites, factories, freight depots, warehouses, and wholesale and retail facilities. They can also load and unload, make mechanical repairs and keep trucks in good condition. Construction and Building Materials Crews are used on the following types of work: rigging, demolition, landscaping, pipeline construction, resized mixing, storage, and building materials fabrication. Teamsters have training programs in Boston, Las Vegas, Alaska, Minnesota, Illinois, California, New York, Ohio, West Virginia, as well as a national pipeline training program that is fully mobile and follows all major pipeline projects.

Members represent experienced plasterers, cement masons, fire retardants, laborers and associate members. Plasterers finish the interior walls and ceilings of buildings by applying plaster to masonry, metal, wire or plaster. Bridges, canals, dams, reservoirs, highways and many other engineering feats would be unthinkable without the skills of OPCMIA's cement masons. Bricklayers are responsible for all concrete structures, including pouring and finishing slabs, steps, wall tops, curbs and gutters, driveways, pavers, and other concrete structures.

Commercial and private carpenters, floorers, mill builders, pile drivers, interior system carpenters, scrubbers, carpenters and trade show carpenters. They build forms for concrete and frame structures, walls, foundations, columns and stairs. Sheet metal workers manufacture, install, and maintain heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems; Blow guns and industrial systems; metal roof; handle and blink; and works in stainless steel for restaurants, kitchens and hospitals. You'll build and assemble architectural sheet metal, wall paneling, and create shop and field designs using state-of-the-art technology. Assist in the construction and maintenance of power plants and substations, dig trenches for lines and repair roads after lines are installed, and build support infrastructure such as oil and gas pipelines. BLACKSMITH
Iron workers assemble and erect steel structures and other metal parts in buildings and bridges, dams, skyscrapers, factories and other steel structures. They lift, position and connect steel beams and columns into structural structures, including welding for material decking. Blacksmiths are also responsible for the steel reinforcement of the concrete structure. Blacksmiths manufacture and install decorative, architectural, and miscellaneous metal components. They also install curtain walls under the Department of Ornamental and Architecture umbrella.
